2024年初中英語必備語法——數詞

表示數量多少或先后順序的詞稱為數詞。英語中數詞可分為基數詞和序數詞。基數詞表示數目的多少，序數詞表示順序，意思是“第幾”。它們的具體用法如下：

A.基數詞的用法

1. 基數詞在句中的作用

基數詞的作用相當于名詞和形容詞，在句中可作定語、主語、賓語(介賓)、表語、同位語等。

例如：Eight is my lucky number. My lucky number is eight.

2. hundred, thousand, million, dozen, score 這些詞前面如有具體數字時，用單數形式，不能加“s”；但表示不確切的數目時，用復數形式，并要與 of 短語連用。

例如：three hundred people; five thousand years; thousands of people; hundreds of students; thousands of trees

3.在表示編號、年代、時刻、幣制、小數、計量等時常用基數詞。例如：第三課：Lesson Three 第二十五頁：Page 25 第 423 房間：Room 423 in sixties/eighties/nineties 在 60/80/90 年代 in one’s twenties/thirties/forties在某人 20 多歲 /30 多歲 /40 多歲

4.基數詞變化規律口訣：

1 至 12 逐個記，13 至 19 teen 結尾;

20 至 90 整十數，ty 結尾是后綴;

要是表示幾十幾，連字符十位連個位;

若要表示幾百幾，hundred 之后 and 立。

B.序數詞的用法

1.序數詞表順序，主要作定語，其前面須加上定冠詞 the，此外，也作主語、賓語、表語和定語等，這時，被它所修飾的名詞往往被省略。

例如：The first ( person ) to arrive is Mike.

2.序數詞與名詞連用時要在序數詞前加定冠詞 the(序數詞前有 my, his, her 等修飾時除外)。

例如：She is always the first student who arrives at school. He is my second brother.

3.如果序數詞前有 a(n)修飾時，表示“再一個(次)，又一個(次)”。

例如：Don’t give up. You can try a third time. 別放棄，再試一次。(表示已經試過兩次了)

4.序數詞可以用來表示順序、生日、日期等。

例如：

His birthday is on January the first.

基數詞變序數詞的口訣： 一、二、三，特殊記；th 從四起； 八加 h，九去 e；ve 要用 f 替； 整十基數變序數，先把 ty 變成 tie； 要是遇到幾十幾，前半基數后半序。

解析：

1.除 first, second, third 之外，序數詞一般在相對應的基數詞詞尾加“-th”構成。

2.第 4-19：除 fifth, eighth, ninth 和 twelfth 外，都是在基數詞后直接加“-th”。

3.第 20-90：它們的整十數是將基數詞詞尾的字母“y”變為“ie”再加“-th”。

4.第幾十幾：由整十數的“基數詞 + 個位數的序數詞”構成，中間用“-”連接。如：forty-first。

5.第幾百(千、百萬等)幾：基數詞的百(千、萬等)+and+ 十位數 / 個位數的序數詞。

如：three hundred and thirty-ninth

C.分數表達法

1.分數表達遵循“子基母序，分子大于 1，分母加 -s”的原則。意思是分子用基數詞表示，分母用序數詞表示;如果分子大于 1 時，分母用復數。

例如 ：one-fourth, two-fifths,three-tenths

2.分數修飾名詞作主語時，其后謂語動詞的單復數與分數所修飾的名詞單復數保持一致。該名詞是可數名詞單數或不可數名詞時，其后的動詞用單數形式;該名詞是可數名詞復數時，其后的動詞用復數形式。

如：Two thirds of the trees were cut down in our town. And only one third of the land is covered by trees now.

D.百分數的表達

1.百分數中的百分號%用 percent 或 per cent 表示，百分數不用復數形式，數字用基數詞表達。

2. 若百分數修飾不可數名詞或可數名詞單數時，謂語動詞用單數形式;若百分數修飾可數名詞復數時，謂語動詞用復數形式。

例如：Seventy percent of students in our school are boys. Fifteen percent of water is clean.

E.倍數的表達

1.倍數 + 形容詞 / 副詞的比較級 +than+ 其他

My school is twice bigger than your school.

我的學校是你的學校的兩倍大。

2.倍數 +as+ 形容詞 / 副詞的原級 +as+ 其他

His father is three times as tall as him.

他爸爸是他的三倍高。

3.倍數 + the size / height / length / width + of +其他

This ruler is two times the length of that one.

這把尺子是那把尺子的兩倍長。

F.約數的表達

1.about, nearly, some, around 表示“大約”;

2.over, more than 等表示“超過”;

3.less than 表示“少于”。
