一、基數詞和序數詞

基數詞：描述事物數量多少的數詞。

序數詞：表示順序的數詞。

基數詞和序數詞最基本的是要掌握單詞的寫法和讀法，尤其是基數詞十幾和序數詞幾十的讀法，在聽力中偶爾會涉及;單詞的寫法更多會在首字母填空或語法填空等題型中考。

補充：

基數詞的構成特點：

1-12是獨立變化;13-19以-teen結尾;百是hundred;千是thousand;百萬是million;十億是billion

21-99兩位數的寫法：

十位數-個位數的基數詞，如：99寫作ninety-nine;十位數-個位數的序數詞，如：第99寫作ninety-nineth

100以上多位數的讀法：

在讀三位數或三位數以上的基數詞時，需在十位數之前(若十位數是0，在個位前)加連詞and

阿拉伯數字每三位數就需要用一個逗號隔開，從后往前數;所用的英語單詞為：thousand(千)，million(百萬)，billion(十億)，英語中沒有“萬”、“十萬”、“億”等單位，在表示的時候可以用千、百萬等單位來表示

1萬可用10個千來表示

ten thousand

35,845thirty-five thousand, eight hundred and forty-five

注意：百位數和十位數之間一定要有and

口訣：基數詞變序數詞

基變序，有規律，1、2、3特殊記，th從4加起來。8去t，9減e，ve先用f替，再把th加上去。ty整十要注意，先把y變成i，th前勿忘e，要是遇上幾十幾，前用基數后用序。

二、數詞的具體用法

1.表示時刻

時刻中的小時、分鐘、秒軍用基數詞表示

1.1 幾點整小時+(o'clock) at 5(o'clock)

1.2 差幾分到幾點分鐘數>30min時，用60-分鐘+to+小時+1

five toeight7:55

1.3 幾點過幾分分鐘數<30min時，用“分鐘+past+小時”

fifteen pasteight8:15

1.4 半小時 half half past eight 8:30

1.5刻(15分鐘)quarter

a quarter past 8 8:15

2.表示計量

2.1 長寬高、面積

基數詞+單位詞(meter、foot、inch、ton等)+形容詞(long、wide、high等)

基數詞+單位詞+in+名詞(length、width、height、weight等)

three meters long=three meters in length

2.2溫度

基數詞+degree+單位詞(centigrade攝氏/Fahrenheit華式)

零下多少度：基數詞+degree+below zero centigrade

thirty-six degreescentigrade 36攝氏度

3.表示加減乘除運算法

3.1 加法：基數詞+and/plus+基數詞+is/make/equals+數詞

10 and 2 equals 12.

3.2 減法：基數詞+minus/taken from+基數詞+is/equals/leaves+基數詞

10 minus 2 equals 8.

3.乘法：基數詞+times/multiplied by+基數詞+is/makes/euqals+基數詞

10times 2 equals 20.

4.除法：基數詞+into/divided by+基數詞+is/makes/euqals+基數詞

10 divided by 2 equals 5.

4.表示分數、百分數、小數、倍數

4.1分數

分子用基數詞，分母用序數詞;分子>1，分母變復數形式

one fifth 1/5

two fifths 2/5

分母是2和4時，分別用half和quarter表示

one-half或a half1/2

three quarters3/4

帶分數需給整數后加and

4.2百分數 基數詞+percent

fifty-five percent 55%

4.3小數

基數詞+point+基數詞(0讀作zero、naught或o)

sixty pointzero nine6.09

4.4倍數

倍數為1 once

倍數為2twice/double

倍數》3，用基數詞》3+times

5.表示年齡

1.整歲數

基數詞 nine

基數詞+years+old nine years old

at the age of+基數詞 at the age of nine

2.整歲的

基數詞-year-old 9-year-old 9歲的

3.大概年齡

in+one's+基數詞的復數形式

in my twenties

4.第幾歲

the/形容詞性物主代詞+序數詞

her eighth birthday

6.表示年月日、世紀、年代

6.1 “年”用基數詞，“日”用序數詞(美：月日年;英：日月年)

May 20th, 2000

讀作：May (the) twentieth, two thousand

6.2 世紀：the+序數詞+century

the twenty-first century

6.3 年代：the+整十年份+s/'s

the 1990s

7.表示編號

英語中，頁碼、單元、課時、房間號、門牌號、車廂號、車牌號、電話號碼、郵政編碼及其它專用編碼的序列號常用到“編號”，編號常用基數詞或序數詞來表示

1.單數可數名詞(首字母大寫)+基數詞(若為英語拼寫，首字母須大寫)

1.another/all+基數詞
