序數詞的構成

①序數詞多數由"基數詞-th"構成，序數詞前一般加定冠詞the

②少數序數詞構成屬特殊情況

e.g. One-first two-second three-third five-fifth eight-eighth nine-ninth twelve-twelfth

③以y結尾的十位整數，先將y改為i，再加-eth e.g. thirty-thirtieth

④21以上的多位數，要將末位數改為序數詞，前面其他位數仍用基數詞

e.g. eighty-three-eighty-third nine hundred and sixty-two-nine hundred and sixty-second

⑤序數詞的縮寫形式由阿拉伯數字加序數詞的后兩個字母構成

e.g. first-1st second-2nd
